Entry Requirements

Entrants must hold a first degree from a UK higher education institution or equivalent qualification and have GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Mathematics, English Language and Science. We currently accept the GCSE equivalence offered by the Essex Schools Initial Teacher Training Partnership.

If you have qualifications from outside the UK you must produce an equivalency statement from NARIC (National Academic Recognition Information Centre). Further details may be found on their website www.naric.org.uk.

Entrants will be expected to have had recent and relevant experience with primary aged children. They must demonstrate an ability to communicate clearly and accurately in Standard English.
